I THINK BY HAVING THE ADDITIONAL MEETING, THIS SPECIAL MEETING, IT NOT ONLY ALLOWS... THE COMMUNICATION, WHICH I THINK IS THE DESIRE OF ALL OF US TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE COMMUNITY WANTS AND TO GET THEIR INPUT, BUT IT ALSO ALLOWS US TO CARRY ON THE BUSINESS AND ALL THE OTHER PORTIONS OF THE MEETING THAT ARE IMPORTANT. THAT WE'RE REALLY CONTRACTED BY WITH LAW AND POLICY, NOT ONLY OUR POLICIES, BUT STATE. THERE'S SOME THINGS THAT WE HAVE TO DO AS A BOARD IN A BOARD MEETING THAT WE JUST CAN'T CHANGE. I THINK IT WOULD BE WISE TO ADD. TO ADD TO INSTEAD OF SUBTRACT FROM. I PERSONALLY AM UNCOMFORTABLE WITH REMOVING STUDENT VOICE FROM EITHER SIDE. TO THAT SAME POINT, WHEN WE DO THOSE EXTRA THINGS THAT WE DO IN OUR MEETINGS, IT PROVIDES BETTER TRANSPARENCY BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. WHAT WE'RE REALLY DOING. WITHOUT THAT...
