ANYBODY WHO HAS PARTICIPATED IN BOARD MEETINGS OVER THE COURSE OF THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS HAS HEARD ME SPEAK PASSIONATELY ABOUT, I CONSIDER IT TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTIVITIES OF THE YEAR, AND THAT IS OUR POETRY OUT LOUD COMPETITION THAT OCCURS EACH YEAR AT BATTLE GROUND HIGH SCHOOL.

THIS YEAR, WE ARE FORTUNATE TO HAVE OUR WINNER, XANDER CRAWFORD, HERE TO SHARE WITH ALL OF US HIS PRIZE WINNING POEM THAT HE RECITED, AND USUALLY I INVITE HEATHER SMITHLINE UP HERE.

MS. SMITHLINE COORDINATES THE POETRY OUT LOUD PROGRAM, BUT THIS YEAR I'LL GET THE PLEASURE OF INVITING ZANDER'S ENGLISH TEACHER, MS. MARY METCALF, WHO HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME UP TO THE PODIUM, AND MS. METCALF IS GOING TO SAY A FEW WORDS, AND THEN WE'LL GET TO HEAR FROM XANDER.

HELLO, I'M MARY METCALF, OBVIOUSLY.

POETRY OUT LOUD IS A NATIONAL COMPETITION THAT'S DEVELOPED TO FOSTER APPRECIATION OF AND CONNECTION TO POETS, PUBLISHED POETS AND THEIR POETRY AND IT BEGINS IN THE CLASSROOM EACH YEAR AND GOES TO A SCHOOL COMPETITION AT WHICH XANDER WON AND THEN GOES TO REGIONALS AND THEN STATE AND NATIONALS, AND SO IT'S A LONG PROCESS EVENTUALLY.

I THINK THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

WE ARE PLANNING OUR PROM IN MAY, I THINK, AND WE'RE TRYING TO PLAN A FIELD TRIP TO A HOCKEY GAME.

I THINK THAT'S JUST ONLY HIGH SCHOOL, AND THEN WE ARE GOING TO START WORKING ON GOING ICE SKATING AS A ONLY HIGH SCHOOL, TOO, AND WE'RE GOING TO START DOING PENNIES FOR PATIENTS IN A FEW WEEKS HERE.

YEAH, SAME THINGS HAPPENING AT PRAIRIE, WHERE WE HAVE OUR FINALS WEEK GOING ON, SO THAT'S BEEN PRETTY STRESSFUL, BUT THAT'S OKAY, AT PRAIRIE, WE JUST HAD A WRESTLING TOURNAMENT.

I THINK WE WENT TO STATE, IF THAT'S CORRECT.

I WAS UNABLE TO GO BUT YEAH THEN WE HAD MULTIPLE SPEECH AND DEBATE WINS OVER THE WEEKEND AS WELL.

SO THAT WAS REALLY GREAT, AND I'M GLAD THAT WE FOUND LIKE THE FUNDING FOR EVERYTHING.

SO OUR SPEECH AND DEBATE KIDS WERE REALLY HAPPY.

WE ARE HAVING CLARK JAZZ BAND FESTIVALS, I THINK FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

I KNOW PRAIRIE HAS THERE'S AT 11:20 AND THEN BATTLE GROUND PERFORMANCE IS AT 8:30 AND THEN I KNOW PRAIRIE BAND WE'RE GOING TO GO TO OR MIDDLE SCHOOLS ARE COMING TO US ON THE SECOND FOR LIKE A LITTLE BAND RECRUITMENT.

SO THAT'S GOING TO BE REALLY FUN TO HAVE, AND SPEAKING ON THAT, RICARDO AND I HAD THE PLEASURE TO GO VISIT LAUREN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND PLEASANT VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL THIS PAST WEEK ON THURSDAY, AND I'D LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO ANYONE THAT ALLOWED THAT TO HAPPEN FOR US, AND WE REALLY, REALLY ENJOYED TALKING TO ALL THE STUDENTS.

I'LL JUST LIST SOME BRIEFLY THAT I'VE TALKED ABOUT BEFORE, AND THAT MIGHT BE IMPORTANT FOR IF YOU WANT TO HOP ON AND GIVE COMMENT ON THEM.

THE SCHOOL BUS SAFETY ONE CAME UP AND AGAIN, IF YOU RECALL THAT THESE ARE UNFUNDED.

THAT WOULD BE SEATBELTS IN SCHOOL BUSSES, NEW SCHOOL BUSSES AND REQUIREMENT THAT STUDENTS ACTUALLY USE THE SEAT BELTS.

SO THERE'S SOME PROBLEMS WITH THAT.

THE 45 MINUTE MANDATORY OUTDOOR RECESS FOR ALL STUDENTS.

THE COSTS OF THAT, I WAS JUST TALKING TO MICHELLE.

THE COST OF THAT WOULD BE PRETTY GREAT, AND THE PRACTICALITY OF AN OUTDOOR RECESS FOR ALL SCHOOL DISTRICTS MIGHT BE A CHALLENGE.

THEY WERE INTERESTED IN, YOU KNOW, CAN I KEEP GIVING MY TIME AWAY WHEN I GOT TO PAY FOR CHILD CARE AND BENEFITS AND THINGS LIKE THAT? SADLY, THERE'S NOT VERY MANY OF THOSE PEOPLE.

SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE OPTIONS ARE FOR THEM, BUT THE IDEA WAS TO ENCOURAGE THOSE PEOPLE WHO MAYBE STILL HAVE YOUNG KIDS, AND THAT'S AN EXTRA BURDEN FOR THEM TO BE A SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER TO ACTUALLY BE WILLING TO SIGN UP.

YEAH, AND I MEAN GOOD INTENTIONS AND I THINK THAT WASDA WILL WEIGH IN AGAINST IT, MAINLY BECAUSE OF, AGAIN, THE COST.

I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT AND INTEGRAL THEY ARE TO HELPING THE SCHOOLS AND THE AND THE STUDENTS.

A FEW OF THE THINGS THAT THEY'VE WE'VE DONE IS THEY HAVE GRANTS THAT ARE GIVEN TO DRAMA DEPARTMENTS AT PRAIRIE, AT BATTLE GROUND AND AT RIVERVIEW HOME LINK AND VARYING AMOUNTS BASED ON NEED.

THEY ALSO HAVE PROVIDED SMART SUITCASES TO RESUPPLY IN CRISIS MANAGEMENT SITUATIONS, AND THEN THEY'RE PUTTING IN BOXES. THEY'VE ALREADY GOT BOXES AT THE HIGH SCHOOLS AT PRAIRIE, BATTLE GROUND, AND RIVER HOME LINK.

OR MAYBE IT WAS CAM, BUT THEY HAVE SMART BOXES FOR THE NARCAN.

YEAH, SIXTH GRADE ELA, AND AMY PACE AND LUCINDA BANCROFT, THEIR INSTRUCTIONAL COACH, WERE TEACHING THE NEW CURRICULUM IN THE CLASSROOM.

THE OTHER THING THAT WE SAW, WHICH WAS REALLY FUN TO SEE IN THE GYM AND REMINDED HOW WONDERFUL THAT SPACE IS WHEN WE WERE IN THERE, THEY WERE THE PE TEACHERS WERE DOING JOSH AND KRYSTAL WERE DOING RELAYS AND THEY HAD IT SET UP WITH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES, BUT THEY I WENT DOWN AND TALKED TO THEM FOR A MINUTE AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS ALL ESSENTIAL STANDARDS THAT THEY HAD FOR THAT GRADE LEVEL OF SKILLS THAT THEY NEEDED TO LEARN.

SO IT WAS NEAT TO SEE THEM IMPLEMENTING SOME OF THE ESSENTIAL STANDARDS WORK IN THEIR CURRICULUM FOR P.E, AND HEALTH STANDARDS.

SO THAT WAS NICE TO SEE THE TRANSFER, NOT JUST IN A CLASSROOM CLASSROOM, A TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM, BUT TO SEE THAT IN OUR SPECIALIST CLASSROOM AS WELL.

SO THAT WAS THAT WAS FUN TO SEE.

AND THEN ALSO OTHER POTENTIAL TRAFFIC IMPACTS WITH UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS LIKE THE 502 503 INTERSECTION AND AS WELL AS SOME OF THE SECURITY CONCERNS THAT WE HAVE WITH THE NEW WALKING PATH DOWN THE 502.

WHEREAS THE MISSION OF WASHINGTON'S PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL STUDENTS ACHIEVE AT HIGH LEVELS AND POSSESS THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY AND ENJOY PRODUCTIVE AND SATISFYING LIVES.

AND WHEREAS, WASHINGTON'S 295 LOCALLY ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND NINE ELECTED EDUCATIONAL SERVICE DISTRICT, ESD BOARDS ARE THE CORE OF THE PUBLIC EDUCATION GOVERNANCE SYSTEM IN OUR STATE SERVE MORE THAN 1.1 MILLION STUDENTS HAVE A COMBINED ANNUAL BUDGET OF OVER 15 BILLION AND EMPLOY APPROXIMATELY 120,000 PEOPLE.

AND WHEREAS, SCHOOL BOARDS PLAY A CRUCIAL ROLE IN PROMOTING STUDENT LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENT BY CREATING A VISION, ESTABLISHING POLICIES AND BUDGETS, AND SETTING CLEAR STANDARDS OF ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ALL INVOLVED, AND WHEREAS, SCHOOL BOARDS DIRECTORS ARE DIRECTLY ACCOUNTABLE TO RESIDENTS IN THEIR DISTRICTS AND REGIONS SERVING AS A VITAL LINK BETWEEN MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND THEIR SCHOOLS, AND WHEREAS, SCHOOL BOARDS AND ESDS PROVIDE A PASSIONATE VOICE OF ADVOCACY FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND THE WELFARE OF SCHOOL CHILDREN, AND WHEREAS, IT IS APPROPRIATE TO RECOGNIZE SCHOOL BOARD DIRECTORS AS OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVANTS AND CHAMPIONS OF PUBLIC EDUCATION.

BUT HE'S DOING THE WORK WITH A LOT OF DISTRICTS ON STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT OF STRATEGIC PLAN WITH THE SIP, AND WE BROUGHT HIM IN BECAUSE WE WERE CURIOUS AND HE TOOK ONE LOOK AT OUR STRATEGIC PLAN, ONE LOOK AT OUR SIP AND SAID, THIS IS AS GOOD AS I'VE SEEN, I DON'T NEED TO HELP YOU GUYS.

[LAUGHTER] SO THAT WAS REALLY NICE, AND THEN I HAD ANOTHER SUPERINTENDENT OF A LOCAL DISTRICT WHO'S IN THE PROCESS OF REVIEWING AND CREATING THEIR OWN STRATEGIC PLAN, SAY TO ME THAT HE THOUGHT THAT OUR STRATEGIC PLAN WAS THE MOST SUCCINCT, CLEAR AND BEST STRATEGIC PLAN THAT HE HAD SEEN IN A LONG TIME. SO WE'RE GETTING RECOGNITION FROM IT, AND AGAIN, I APPRECIATE THE HARD WORK OF EVERYBODY TO GET TO THIS POINT.

I WANTED TO POINT OUT THAT WE HAVE NOT, OF COURSE, MADE ANY DECISIONS THAT WILL BE WITH YOUR INPUT FOLLOWING OUR PLC WINDOWS ON WHETHER OR NOT WE WILL GO TO THE STATE AND REQUEST ADDITIONAL WAIVER DAYS FOR NEXT YEAR.

SO THIS REALLY JUST OUTLINES THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR BEING THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE LABOR DAY AND THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BEING THE 12TH OF JUNE, AS WELL AS THE SNOW MAKEUP DAY AND PUTTING OUR HOLIDAYS IN THERE SO THAT WE CAN BEGIN TO GET THAT OUT SO OUR FAMILIES CAN DO PLANNING AROUND THE CALENDAR FOR NEXT YEAR.

SO THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT WE WILL BRING IT BACK TO YOU FOR REVISION DEPENDING ON HOW THE REMAINDER OF THE WINTER AND SPRING GO IN THAT WAY, BUT JUST WANTED TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO THAT AND IT DOES NOT HAVE THOSE DAYS BUILT IN LIKE WE ENDED UP ADJUSTING AND BUILDING IN THIS YEAR.

ONE OF THE CHALLENGES THAT OUR STAFF HAS FOUND THIS YEAR IS THAT THERE'S NOT GREAT ALIGNMENT BETWEEN WHEN THOSE WAIVER DAYS FALL AND THE GRADING PERIODS, WHICH WOULD BE REALLY LOVELY MOVING FORWARD, BUT IT WOULD REQUIRE WE WENT TO THE STATE FOR TWO DAYS LAST YEAR. IT WOULD REQUIRE A THIRD TO GET THOSE IN ALIGNMENT.

SO WE'LL MAKE THOSE DECISIONS AGAIN AFTER WE SEE THE IMPACT THAT THE WORK WE'VE BEEN DOING THIS YEAR IS HAVING ON STUDENT LEARNING AND ON OUR STAFF.

HONESTLY, A LOT OF IT HAS TO DO WITH HOW STAFF ARE BEING ABLE TO ENGAGE IN THE WORK AND MOVE THAT WORK FORWARD, BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT IT WILL TAKE A WHILE TO SEE THIS REGENERATE ITSELF ACROSS THE CURRICULUM.

WE'VE ASKED THEM ESSENTIALLY TO DO THREE WINDOWS OF TIME WITH ONE STANDARD IN EACH WINDOW.

SO OBVIOUSLY THREE STANDARDS MAY NOT A BUNCH OF GROWTH MAKE, BUT IT WILL CERTAINLY DEVELOP AND CONTINUE TO GROW THE PROCESS THAT OUR STAFF IS USING FOR THE PLC WORK, AND WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT BUILDS ON ITSELF SO THAT WE CAN SEE SUCCESS FOR OUR STUDENTS ULTIMATELY.

SO YES, WHAT WE WOULD DO IS WE WOULD TAKE TWO OR THREE LATE STARTS AND TURN THOSE INTO WAIVER DAYS.

SO THAT WOULD BE OUR PLAN IF WE WERE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT.

SO I WANTED TO GIVE YOU THAT UPDATE.

CLARK COUNTY IS SCHEDULED FOR THIS SUMMER SOMETIME, AND WE DON'T HAVE THOSE DATES YET, AND THEN WE'RE STILL WORKING WITH THE TOWN OF YACOLT.

SO THAT'S AN UPDATE ON THE CAPITAL FACILITY PLAN.

YEAH, LOTS OF MEETINGS, LOTS OF INFORMATION, FOR PRESENTED.

ALSO, AS MARY MENTIONED, WE BEGAN OUR STATE AUDIT ON JANUARY THE FOURTH, AND WE'RE SCHEDULED TO END IN FEBRUARY. IT'S A LITTLE LONGER BECAUSE OUR AUDITORS ARE ALSO BEING CALLED AWAY TO OTHER SCHOOLS.

SO. NEXT, JUST ON THE STATE BUDGET UPDATE, SO PART OF THIS LEGISLATIVE SESSION, ONE OF THE MAIN PRIORITIES IS TO ADOPT A NEW BUDGET FOR THE 23-25 BIENNIUM.

IT'S A LONG SESSION, IT'S 105 DAYS, SO IT'LL GO THROUGH APRIL 23RD.

SO THAT'S A LONG TIME BEFORE WE GET THE FINAL NUMBERS OF FUNDING THINGS LIKE IPD THAT ARE IMPORTANT FOR US AND SO ON WITH FUNDING.

THE GOVERNOR INSLEE HAS RELEASED HIS BUDGET PRIORITIES AND IT WAS NOT THERE WASN'T MUCH INCLUDED IN FOR K 12 EDUCATION.

THERE WAS THE REQUIRED MAINTENANCE LEVEL FUNDING AND THEN A SMALL AMOUNT FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION AND THE IPD AND SUB INCREASES A 7.7% INCREASE FOR THE SUB MEDICAL PREMIUM INCREASES.

SO THE SUPERINTENDENT REYKDAL ALSO RELEASED HIS BUDGET AND IT WAS A LITTLE MORE ROBUST.

IT HAD A REBASING OF SALARIES, WHICH WAS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT OUR COMPENSATION COMMITTEE THAT I WAS ON WORKED ON.

IT ALSO HAD UPDATES TO REGIONALIZATION AND THEN FUNDING FOR DISTRICTS WITH HIGHLY EXPERIENCED, CERTIFICATED INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF AND UNIVERSAL MEALS FOR STUDENTS, FULLY FUNDING SPECIAL EDUCATION AND OTHER INCREASES IN THE PROTOTYPICAL MODEL, SPECIFICALLY TO PRINCIPALS AND THEN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, A FEW OTHERS.

SO IT WAS A MORE ROBUST.

WE'RE NOT ANTICIPATING THAT WE WILL GET ALL OF THOSE THINGS.

IT DOESN'T IT SEEMS TO BE THERE'S QUITE A FEW OTHER PRIORITIES IN THIS LEGISLATIVE SESSION THAN THE K 12.

SO BUT WE'LL CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE FOR FUNDING, WE'LL CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE AND SHARE OUR INFORMATION ON THE CHALLENGES THAT WE HAVE AS SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR OUR STUDENTS, AND SO THAT'LL KEEP GOING.

HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE CONDITION OF THE FACILITY WITH WHICH YOU ARE MOST ASSOCIATED AND WHAT IS THE TOP FACILITY NEED AT YOUR BUILDING? AND SO THE WAY IT WORKED IS PEOPLE SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS AND RESPONDED TO THOUGHTS SHARED BY OTHERS.

WE HAD THE MOST PARTICIPATION FROM STAFF, FOLLOWED BY PARENTS AND GUARDIANS, AND WE ALSO HAD SOME STUDENTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATE.

WE HAD GOOD PARTICIPATION, ALMOST 600 PEOPLE, AND WE ASKED THEM TO RANK THE PHYSICAL CONDITION, AND THE DISTRICT WIDE AVERAGES CAME OUT TO BE PRETTY EVEN WHEN WE LOOK AT THE DISTRICT AS A WHOLE.

SO 35.5 SAID VERY POOR OR POOR, 33.1 SAID ACCEPTABLE AND 31.3 SAID GOOD OR VERY GOOD, AND WHEN YOU BREAK THAT DOWN BY THE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF RESPONDENTS, THOSE PERCENTAGES WERE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME, PLUS OR MINUS A COUPLE PERCENTAGES.

HOWEVER, WHEN YOU LOOK AT SPECIFIC BUILDINGS, THOSE RANKINGS CHANGE QUITE A BIT AND THOSE SPECIFIC SCHOOL RANKINGS ARE AVAILABLE IN BOARD DOCS AND ON THE WEBSITE AS WELL.

ON THE NEXT SLIDE, YOU'LL SEE THE TOP THEMES THAT EMERGED FROM THOSE RESPONSES.

SO THEY INCLUDED OVERCROWDING, AGE AND CONDITION OF BUILDINGS SAFETY.

SO THIS INCLUDED THINGS LIKE ENTRYWAYS, GATES AND DOORS LOCKING, SOME OF WHICH ARE ALREADY BEING ADDRESSED AS YOU KNOW.

HEATING AND COOLING ISSUES.

THERE WAS KIND OF A MISCELLANEOUS CATEGORY THAT INCLUDED THINGS LIKE CLEANING AND NUMBER OF BATHROOMS, PARKING LOT IN THIS REFERRED TO THINGS LIKE SIZE, TRAFFIC FLOW OR LIGHTING, LAYOUT AND DESIGN AMENITIES.

SO THIS INCLUDED CAFETERIAS, STORAGE SPACE, PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS, AND THEN TEACHING AND LEARNING NEEDS WAS THE LAST CATEGORY, AND THIS WAS THINGS LIKE THE NEED FOR LARGER COMPUTER LABS, SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT OR NEED FOR MORE OUTLETS, STRONGER WIFI, THINGS LIKE THAT.

SO NOW I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT THE RESPONSES LOOK LIKE AT THREE SPECIFIC BUILDINGS.

SO FIRST UP IS PLEASANT VALLEY PRIMARY.

THIS HAD 36 PARTICIPANTS PRETTY EVENLY SPLIT BETWEEN STAFF AND PARENTS AND GUARDIANS.

79% SAID THAT THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF THE BUILDING WAS VERY POOR OR POOR.

18% SAID ACCEPTABLE AND JUST 3% SAID GOOD, AND WHAT YOU'RE SEEING ON THE SCREEN ARE THE TOP THREE THOUGHTS THAT WERE SUBMITTED BY PARTICIPANTS. SO CAPACITY IS CLEARLY AT THE TOP OF PEOPLE'S MINDS, AND THE TOP THEMES WERE IN ORDER OF RANKING OVERCROWDING, SAFETY, AGING, CONDITION, HVAC AND LAYOUT AND DESIGN, AND THE NEXT WE'LL LOOK AT LAURIN.

LAURIN HAD 40 PARTICIPANTS.

AGAIN, A LITTLE MORE STAFF THAN PARENTS AND GUARDIANS.

92% SAID THAT THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF THE BUILDING WAS VERY POOR OR POOR.

8% SAID ACCEPTABLE AND NO ONE SAID GOOD OR VERY GOOD, AND THE FOCUS OF THE RESPONSE HERE WAS DEFINITELY AGE AND CONDITION OF THE BUILDING.

SO THE TOP THEMES IN ADDITION TO THAT WERE OVERCROWDING, HVAC LAYOUT AND DESIGN AND SAFETY, AND THEN LAST, WE'LL LOOK AT BATTLE GROUND HIGH SCHOOL.

THIS HAD 67 PARTICIPANTS, MOSTLY STAFF.

27% SAID THE BUILDING IS VERY POOR OR POOR CONDITION.

55% SAID ACCEPTABLE AND 18% SAID GOOD, AND THE TOP THEMES WERE SAFETY, LAYOUT, DESIGN AND AMENITIES, AGING CONDITION, HVAC, TEACHING AND LEARNING NEEDS, OVERCROWDING AND PARKING LOT, AND AGAIN, IF YOU WANT TO GET INTO THE SPECIFICS FOR EACH SCHOOL, THAT INFORMATION IS ON BOARD DOCS.

SO WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? SO WE'RE GOING TO TAKE THIS INFORMATION AND THEMES AND INCLUDE THEM IN SOME PUBLIC OPINION RESEARCH THAT WE'LL BE LAUNCHING SOON.

SO THEY'LL BE CONDUCTING A POLL BY PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES AND ASKING PEOPLE ABOUT FUNDING PRIORITIES, THEIR AWARENESS OF FACILITY NEEDS, RATING OF BUILDING CONDITIONS AND MORE, AND THEY'LL PROVIDE AN ANALYSIS OF THE DATA AND SURVEY ABOUT 250 PEOPLE.

IS THERE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS BEFORE I SWITCH GEARS? IT'S INTERESTING THAT A LOT OF THE COMMENTS THAT WE SEE FOR MOST OF THE BUILDINGS INCLUDE THE SECURITY, WHICH IS WHEN YOU READ THROUGH IT, IT'S THE SCOPE OF WORK THAT WE'RE DOING.

SO SHE HELPED THEM IDENTIFY THEIR UNIQUE VALUE PROPOSITION AND SOME KEY MESSAGES TO PROMOTE THEIR COURSES, AND SHE ALSO HELPED THEM DELVE A LITTLE BIT INTO BRANDING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN. SO KUDOS TO HER.

YEAH, VERY COOL.

AND I RARELY DO THIS, BUT I'M GOING TO JUST GIVE A PERSONAL COMMENT.

SO MY GRANDSON IS A CHILD OF COLOR, AND I APPRECIATE WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT SO MUCH OF THE LITERATURE BEING ABOUT STRUGGLE BECAUSE HE'S A VERY JOYFUL KID.

WELL, HE'S A MAN NOW, BUT ANYWAY, AND RATHER THAN FEED HIM, HE SHOULD BE STRUGGLING.
