WE HAD OUR BOARD RETREAT IN MID-JUNE AND WE HAD THE PARADE RECENTLY. WELL I'LL TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PARADE. TWO BOARD MEMBERS, SEVERAL TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS AND KIDS AND FAMILIES PARTICIPATED AND WE MARCHED IN THE PARADE. WE'RE VERY POPULAR BECAUSE I THINK WE HAD A 150 POUNDS OF CANDY THAT WE DISTRIBUTED AND IT WAS A LOT OF FUN. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE ALL THE PEOPLE OUT AND ESPECIALLY ALL OF THE CHILDREN. THANK YOU. THE LAST THING THAT I WOULD ASK THAT DESPITE IF YOU ADOPT HEALTHSMART OR IF YOU GO WITH CHECK THE FACTS OR SOME OTHER CURRICULUM TO REALLY LOOK AT THOSE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND THE FAQ'S THAT CAME IN POSTED ON THE WEBSITE AND LOOKING AT THOSE DIFFERENT THINGS TO BALANCE THE COMMUNITY'S VARYING PERSPECTIVES, I THINK THAT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, ESPECIALLY FROM THE PARENTS, BECAUSE I HEAR MOST OF THESE PEOPLE TALKING SEEM TO BE PARENTS THAT ACTUALLY HAVE KIDS THAT WOULD ACTUALLY PULL THEIR KIDS FROM THE DISTRICT. SO FOR THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF, MY CHILD HAS GONE FROM NO SCHOOL TO ONLINE SCHOOL TO HYBRID SCHOOL TO IN-PERSON SCHOOL WITH RESTRICTIONS ON EVERY MOVE SHE MADE AND EVERY BREATH SHE TOOK. AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING HER THAT IF SOMEONE GETS WITHIN SIX FEET OF HER WHO LATER COMES DOWN WITH COVID, SHE WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM RECEIVING THE SAME EDUCATION AS HER PEERS. AND I'M HERE TO SAY NO. SO WHAT WE'RE GOING TO BE DOING IS CONFIGURING THE BUSSES TO HAVE TWO DIFFERENT CARRIERS AT ALL TIMES SO THAT IF, FOR INSTANCE, VERIZON OR T-MOBILE OR AT&T, DEPENDING ON WHAT WE PUT IN THERE STOPS WORKING IN A PARTICULAR LOCATION, THAT IT WILL FAIL OVER TO THE SECOND OPTION. ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS AGREEMENT IS A SOFTWARE PACKAGE WHICH WILL ALLOW US TO WATCH THAT SIGNAL STRENGTH ON A BREADCRUMB MAP OF THE INDIVIDUAL ROUTE AS IT DRIVES AROUND SO THAT WE CAN SEE EXACTLY HOW STRONG SIGNAL IS AND EXACTLY HOW FAR IT CAN REACH FROM THAT LOCATION. THAT'LL GIVE US THE ABILITY TO BETTER DETERMINE WHICH CARRIERS TO PUT ON THAT PARTICULAR BUS. WE CAN MAKE SOME ASSUMPTIONS. WE KNOW THAT THE CORE OF YACOLT IS VERY WELL COVERED BY AT&T. THEY HAVE THAT TOWER RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF TOWN. LOOKS LIKE A TREE. DON'T BE MISTAKEN IT'S NOT JUST STRANGELY PRUNED. IT ACTUALLY IS [INAUDIBLE]. I DID THINK THAT BRIEFLY. BUT AVERAGE RIDE TIME IS PROBABLY 25 TO 30 MINUTES BECAUSE JUST GETTING OUT OF SOME OF OUR LOTS TAKES 10 MINUTES. LIKE, AGAIN, WHEN I THINK ABOUT GOING WITH LAURIN AND THE RAILROAD TRACKS THAT WE HAVE TO STOP AT RAILROAD TRACKS. SO THAT ADDS TIME. WAIT DON'T PUT IT DOWN. WHAT DO YOU THINK THE LONGEST TIME IS? AND I JUST REMEMBER WHEN MY SON HAD TO RIDE THE BUS AND HE WAS IT WAS A 50 MINUTE RIDE FOR HIM AND SO IT WAS MINUTES OR LESS. YOU KNOW, I MEAN, THERE JUST SOME LIKE I SAID, NOW THAT WE'RE GOING ALL THE WAY TO GREEN MOUNTAIN AND THAT CAUSES A PROBLEM BECAUSE WE CAN'T GET THOSE BUSSES BACK TO RUN PRIMARY ROUTES EITHER. SO THEY'RE SINGLE RUN ROUTES IS WHAT WE CALL THEM. THOSE ROUTES TEND TO BE OUR ACTIVITY BUSSES AFTER SO THEY CAN DO THE SECONDARY RUN SINGLE ROUTE, RUN AND GET BACK TO TAKE THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM TO A GAME. SO AND I ASSUME ALL SCHOOL FILTERS WOULD APPLY AND SO ON. THE FILTERS THAT WE HAVE ON THE STUDENT CHROMEBOOKS FOLLOW THEM.
